Electric Fence & Solar Power Installation, Voi
Voi
Project Photos

Project Overview
This installation near Voi secured an institutional water infrastructure site set against the dramatic hills of the Tsavo region, a larger-scale, higher-specification fence than a typical residential job, reflecting the site's operational importance.
Elatec's team set timber corner and line posts along the full boundary, wiring multiple tensioned strands from ground level to well above head height, with solar panels mounted directly at the fence line to provide power independent of any grid connection, essential for a remote site. Legally required 'Hatari Electric Fence' warning signage was fitted throughout, including at the corner post shown being mounted against the mountain backdrop.
The fence line was extended across a secure double mesh gate entrance, keeping the same wire strand protection continuous across the site's vehicle access point. The finished installation, photographed with site personnel and a delivery vehicle passing through, gives this institutional facility a complete solar-powered electric perimeter matched to the scale and remoteness of the location.
