Hillside Boundary Electric Fence, Meru

This Meru property's boundary runs through dense hillside brush and thicket, terrain that makes a physical wall impractical and a simple wire fence easy for intruders to push through unnoticed. A live wire fence was the clear choice for both practicality and deterrence.

Elatec installed green PVC-coated steel posts along the boundary path, each fitted with insulated wire brackets carrying multiple horizontal strands from ground level to well above head height. The PVC coating on the posts resists corrosion in the area's damp, vegetated conditions, extending the fence's working life compared to untreated timber.

With the brush cleared along a narrow path for the fence line, the installation gives the property a clearly defined, monitored boundary through terrain that would otherwise be difficult to secure by any other means.
