Twin Umbrella Car Parking Shades, Nairobi Institutional Building

This institutional building needed parking cover for a high-traffic bay area directly in front of its curved, multi-storey main entrance, a prominent location where the shade structure's appearance mattered as much as its function.

Elatec installed a pair of umbrella-style shade structures on a shared central post arrangement, each canopy fanning out in cream tensile fabric to cover multiple bays per unit. This umbrella format, distinct from a standard cantilever, gives symmetrical coverage in both directions from a single support point, well suited to parking laid out in rows facing a central aisle.

The cream fabric tone was selected to complement the building's pale exterior, giving the finished installation a coordinated, purpose-built look rather than an aftermarket addition.
